Joe Bonello is one of the leading photographers in the Midwest that specializes in pageantry and performing arts action photography photographing marching band, winter guard, concert, and theater productions.
Joe photographs marching arts events in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Illinois, and California for the Mid-Continent Color Guard Association (MCCGA), Winter Guard and Percussion of Oklahoma (WGPO), Arkansas Marching Arts Association (AMAA), Winter Guard Association of Southern California (WGASC) circuits and for regional Winter Guard International (WGI) championship contests with spouse Belinda Johnson of B. Johnson Photography. His photos have been published in WGI publications and in Halftime Magazine.
Joe also publishes content for MidwestMarching.com a website for marching event information throughout the Midwest.
He holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance and was a former educator and church music director. He was a 10 year member of the Kansas City Symphony Chorus and most recently was a percussionist with the American Legion Band of Greater Kansas City
